Add Custom Data to places within your map using VisioMapEditor and then retrieve them later via the SDK.

Introduction

It's possible to associate custom data to places within your map.  This might be useful for indicating:

• the capacity of a meeting room
• the equipment available within an intensive care unit
• including a Bluetooth ID
• creating a second place ID

Adding Custom Data

Thanks to the last version VisiomapEditor, you can now edit custom name of the POIs directly on the map. You just have to select the place and edit the name:

When you go to content in the nav bar, you can see all the POIs ID with the name:

When you are happy with the Custom Data that's been added, selecting the "Save & Publish" button will make the Custom Data available to the SDK:
