When you import POIs from a CSV file, they will be placed on the map as an icon.
Make sure you have the structure of your venue set before importing.
To import POIs from a CSV file, click on Settings then, Import & Export. On the import tab, you will find theUPLOAD CSV option.
Click on "download example" at first, in order to get the correct format of data to be imported.
ID for the POI ID.
Floor for the "floor ID" ("B1-UL0", for exemple)
Icon for the design of the "icon" (see the complete library on Images / Visioglobe's icons / VisioglobeDefault library)
Lng for the longitude coordinates of the POI.
Lat for the latitude coordinates of the POI.
Width for the size of the icon to be created. You can keep "5" or "10" and adjust it later on directly in VisioMapEditor.
Once you add your own data to this file, upload it back to VisioMapEditor.
GeoJson is a vector file format with geographic coordinates.
This export is ideal when you will be integrating an indoor positioning system (IPS).
The navigation (routing) you draw in the editor will be exported as well and will help you calibrating (fingerprinting).
You can export a 2D view of your map for your printing needs.
There are 3 options available for you to do so.
You will get a zip file containing the SVG of the entire map and the set of icons. Ideal if you want to export the map and work with it in another software such as Adobe Illustrator.
It will print the view you have in the VisioMapEditor when you clicked on Import&Export
You can configure a map Ready-to-Print & Ready-to-Cut and with legends.The POIs names and Categories you fill in the Content tab will be used. If you do not use this tab in VisioMapEditor, please notice that it can connected to your existing CMS.
