Common issues & fixes
My map doesn't display after I published it
- Check that you're using the correct hash key for your Target.
- Run the Complex polygons validation tool to make sure no badly-drawn polygon is causing the issue.
The SDK doesn't find any route between two POIs
- Run the Connected components and Connected POIs validation tools to identify the issue.
- The most common causes are: a missing access node on one of the POIs, a missing floor transition node between floors, ora break somewhere in the routing network.
A POI doesn't appear in my app's search results
- Make sure a Name has been assigned to it in the Content tab.
- Make sure your map has actually been published to production — not just built as a draft.
A custom icon appears blurry, distorted, or with a visible background instead oftransparency
- This is very likely caused by not following the recommended format: a square PNG image with a transparent background(see 3D models and icons, in the Completing Your Map chapter).
I get an error when uploading a reference file (DWG/PDF)
- Check that the file name doesn't contain spaces or special characters.
